Applications for summer school 2022 are now open!

HiGA Summer School 2022 will be held as follows: Date: August 1 (Monday) – August 7 (Sunday), 2022* Number of applicants: 30 (If the number of applicants exceeds this number, participants will be selected based on their self-introduction videos) Participation fee: 60,000 yen (including basic expenses such as accommodation, transportation, etc. from pick-up to drop-off) Applications: 1st round: February 1st 2022 – May 1st 2022 (priority given to students born between April 2nd, 2006 and December 31st, 2008) 2nd round: May 2nd 2022 – June 1st 2022 (priority given to students born between April 2nd, 2006 and December 31st, 2009) *Please refer to the leaflet and guideline for the detailed …

Summer School 2022

The Summer School 2022 will be held in the summer of 2022 at the Hiroshima Global Academy (HiGA) and in Hiroshima city for international students and Japanese students who have studied abroad. HiGA Summer School Day 5

Hello everyone! We’re in charge of summer school PR. Today we visited the Atomic Bomb Dome and The old Bank of Japan in Hiroshima. The students were able to think more deeply about peace. They were able to apply what they had learnt through interviews with vistors at the Peace Park.

HiGA Summer School Day 4

Good morning, everyone.　We’re in charge of summer school PR. This was the fourth day of HiGA Summer School, and the students who had mostly used Japanese, challenged themselves with difficult English wards and gave it their all in the final presentation of the peace project. Also, in the evening, we enjoyed our farewell party and recreation together with the students. We had a great time with our friends!

HiGA Summer School Day 3

Good morning, everyone.　We’re in charge of summer school PR. Yesterday, we did kayaking on the Okushi beach. For most participants it was the first time to kayak. However, we did nice kayaking with buddy’s supports. At night, we had a talent show that students planed. In the talent show, they showed what they are good at. A lot of people presented their hobbies, for example singing songs and playing the instruments. Through the talent show, we could understand each other.

Hello, everyone. We’re in charge of summer school PR. Yesterday, the peace project workshop started. We thought about what we need to realize peace in the future. Even though it’s only the 2nd day, HiGA students and participants had worked together. We’ll make good use of remaining time to make good presentations!

Welcome to HiGA! Good morning, everyone.　We’re in charge of the summer school PR. Finally, HiGA Summer school 2021 has begun. HiGA students and participants all seemed nervous at first. However, going through the welcome party, they warmed to each other. From tomorrow, the project will start. Cooperating in pairs, we’re going to make unforgettable memories this summer!
