５月１日（水）、令和６年度生徒総会を実施しました。総会のはじめには、生徒会長から総会の目的や今年度の生徒会スローガンについての紹介がありました。今年度の生徒会スローガンは「継（KEI）」です。これまで築いてきたHiGAの礎を生かして新たな取り組みを提案するこの総会は、会場であるカフェトリウムに初めて全校生徒が揃う機会となりました。
第一部では、各委員会から今年度の目標や活動計画について提案があり、質疑応答を経て全ての提案が承認されました。
第二部では、IB校の目指す10の学習者像に沿って、目指すべき学習者像はどのようなもので、そのためには普段から何を意識すれば良いのかについての意見交流を行いました。特に、最終学年となったG12からは、「信念を持つ人」「振り返りができる人」についての発表がなされ、HiGAが目指す10の学習者像に向かって生徒全員で「広い視野」「周囲への貢献」「主体性」をキーワードにすべての活動に取り組むことが共有されました。
On Wednesday, May 1, the 2024 general student meeting was held. At the beginning of the meeting, the student body president introduced the purpose of the meeting and this year’s student council slogan. This year’s student council slogan is “KEI”. The entire student body gathered for the first time in the cafetorium, where they proposed new initiatives based on the foundation HiGA has built up so far.
In the first part of the meeting, each committee proposed its goals and activity plans for the current year, and all proposals were approved after a Q&A session.
In the second part, students exchanged opinions on what kind of learners they should aim for, in line with the school’s IB Learner Profile, and what they should be aware of on a daily basis in order to achieve their goals. In particular, G12 students who are in the final year of the program made a presentation on “Principled” and “Reflective”, and all students shared that they would work on all activities with the keywords of “broad perspective,” “contribution to surroundings,” and “independence” in order to reach the ideals of the Learner Profile.
