A sex education lecture was held for first-year high school students. We invited Professor Yoko Ueno from the Nursing Course, Department of Health and Welfare, Prefectural University of Hiroshima, who spoke on the theme “Well-being for You and Me: Sexual Violence and Dating DV.” The lecture provided students with a clear understanding of the definition, types, and psychological aspects of dating violence (DV), and emphasized the importance of empathy and respect for others. It also offered an opportunity for each student to reflect on how they should act to help prevent dating DV.
