The president of the Hiroshima International Council for Health Care of the Radiation-exposed (HICARE), Mr. Kenji Kamiya, in collaboration Hiroshima University and Fukushima Medical University, visited Hiroshima Global Academy to give a lecture on “Radiation and Health” to HiGA’s grade 10 students.
During the lecture, he talked about the health risks of radiation exposure, radiation-sensitive diseases, and introduced HICARE’s activities. The students actively listened to Mr. Kamiya’s presentation and engaged him in the Q&A session at the end of the presentation.
