On September 5, our school presented its research on academic language development at the 6th JARIBE Conference Program. We received high praise for our Language Pathway, which is a strategy that maps the horizontal and vertical language development of students. IB educators, school staff, and other conference members from around the world were excited to learn more about our program. Hello everyone! We’re in charge of summer school PR. Today we visited the Atomic Bomb Dome and The old Bank of Japan in Hiroshima. The students were able to think more deeply about peace. They were able to apply what they had learnt through interviews with vistors at the Peace Park.

Good morning, everyone. We’re in charge of summer school PR. This was the fourth day of HiGA Summer School, and the students who had mostly used Japanese, challenged themselves with difficult English wards and gave it their all in the final presentation of the peace project. Also, in the evening, we enjoyed our farewell party and recreation together with the students. We had a great time with our friends!

Good morning, everyone. We’re in charge of summer school PR. Yesterday, we did kayaking on the Okushi beach. For most participants it was the first time to kayak. However, we did nice kayaking with buddy’s supports. At night, we had a talent show that students planed. In the talent show, they showed what they are good at. A lot of people presented their hobbies, for example singing songs and playing the instruments. Through the talent show, we could understand each other.
