On Tuesday, January 20th, twelve students from Daegu International School visited our school. We had been conducting an exchange program where nine students from G9 and G10 had interacted with them through online meetings in July and November. When the Daegu students came to our school, all G9 students participated in activities to exchange cultures and communicate with the students from Daegu. After that, the G8 students introduced their learning in the COF class.
In the afternoon, all members of the program joined a discussion session and also tried picking oranges. The students planned and prepared for the visit by themselves. They tried to speak in English and sometimes communicated in Japanese and Korean. The students seemed to feel closer to each other’s cultures after the meeting.
