HiROSHIMA GLOBAL ACADEMY

The 2nd high school graduation ceremony was held

On Sunday, March 1, the 2nd high school graduation ceremony was held with the attendance of many people who have helped the school.

We would like to thank all the people who have been supported our school. Today, the 48 graduates will leave our school, where they have spent three or six years, and move on to the next stage of their lives.

Principal Yoshimura commended the second cohort for building upon the traditions established by the first cohort while forging new history. She emphasised the importance of ‘continually striving for self-improvement and sincere self-reflection’ and ‘cultivating gratefulness’, entrusting the 48 graduates with the task of building a peaceful society.

In the graduation address, the student representative reflected on their high school years and Diploma Programme studies, noting that difficult times had outweighed the enjoyable ones, and expressed gratitude to their peers for overcoming challenges together.

We hope that they will be leaders who can create a “better future” for their communities and the world, wherever they may be in the world, by utilizing the various qualities and abilities they have cultivated at our school.
