n the morning of the second day, we visited the National Japanese American Museum, where we could learn about the history of Japanese Americans. We listened to a third-generation Japanese American and learned for the first time about the hardships and thoughts of Japanese Americans during the Pacific War. After eating chili dogs for lunch, we visited a company that is also based in Washington, D.C. We could gain a better understanding of the many factors involved in business and the relationship between government and business that is unique to Washington, D.C. Also, we can gain new perspectives by looking at Japanese Americans, African Americans we had never paid attention to before.
