We did a lot today, so the post will be in two parts! In the morning, we had a workshop at the hotel’s meeting room. We shared what we learned through KAKEHASHI Project and thought about our action plan after returning to Japan. We will do a presentation on our action plan tomorrow at the Japanese embassy and Hayfield Secondary School. After returning to Japan, we will continue to post on SNS and work hard to achieve the action plan.
In the afternoon, we had lunch with Globalize DC students and then went to church. We viewed paintings sent by elementary school students in Hiroshima after the war. The paintings were very colorful and showed the strength of the elementary school students after the war. In the evening, we had Peruvian food. During this trip, we ate a lot of foods from many countries.
