The first day, we were met at Washington Dulles Airport by our coordinators in the US. Afterwards, we had a bacon lettuce tomato sandwich, a classic American meal, for lunch. After that, we visited the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument on the National Mall.
After arriving at the hotel, we had an orientation to confirm the aim of the project and having an ice breaker to get to know each other.
