A sex education lecture was held for first-year high school students. We invited Professor Yoko Ueno from the Nursing Course, Department of Health and Welfare, Prefectural University of Hiroshima, who spoke on the theme “Well-being for You and Me: Sexual Violence and Dating DV.” The lecture provided students with a clear understanding of the definition, types, and psychological aspects of dating violence (DV), and emphasized the importance of empathy and respect for others. It also offered an opportunity for each student to reflect on how they should act to help prevent dating DV.    For G11 high school students, she spoke on the theme “Well-being for you and Me: Sexually Transmitted infections.”

On Friday, November 15, there was a briefing session about the Japanese Red Cross Society Hiroshima Branch and Cambodian Red Cross Society Youth Exchange Program. At the briefing, we heard interesting stories about Cambodia, including the existence of one of the world’s largest floating villages, the problems that still exist in terms of transportation, sanitation, and medical care, and the program’s efforts to improve these problems and promote cross-cultural exchange. Through this information session, We became even more interested in going abroad. We would like to continue to catch up on various information to expand our experiences and career paths.

On Wednesday, July 26, 2023, a university fair was held with the participation of 14 universities from Japan and abroad. The participants gave detailed explanations of the characteristics of each university and the specifics of the IB entrance examinations, either in person or via Zoom. The hour and a half went by in a flash as the students asked and answered questions. We will continue to promote cooperation with universities in Japan and abroad to help students achieve their career goals.
